Aryika Shri 105 Chandramati Mataji

Aryika Shri 105 Chandramati Mataji was born 65 years ago in Vikram Samvat 1956 in the village of Girvi in Satara district. Her father, Shri Phoolchandraji, was a religious person and ran a jewelry shop. The economic situation at the time of her birth was good, and her mother's name was Kasturbai. When Aryika's mother passed away, she was only 12 years old. Her brother, Ramchandraji, was the only boy among seven sisters, and unfortunately, five of his sisters passed away. Aryika and her sister Shri Balubai were the only two who survived among the seven sisters.
Mataji completed her schooling up to the 4th grade and received religious education at home. After becoming proficient in household work, she got married in Solapur to Shri Hiralalji. Her husband and father-in-law were engaged in wholesale trade and belonged to a prosperous family. After her marriage, she spent most of her time in household duties until tragic circumstances made her a widow.
Due to her detachment and religious practice, Mataji took refuge in the Kalinja Ashram and progressed towards her spiritual development there. She has spent 16 years in Kalinja Ashram in study and teaching.
Ganini Aryika Shri 105 Chandramati Mataji took Kshullika Diksha on Kartik Shukla Panchami Vikram Samvat 2013 during Chaturmas in Jaipur Khaniya, and Acharya Shri Veersagarji Maharaj gave her the name Chandramati. Considering her level of detachment, she took Aryika Diksha from Acharya Shri Shivsagarji Maharaj at Girnarji Siddhakshetra on Chaitra Badi Padba Vikram Samvat 2014.
