Aryika Shri 105 Supragyamati Mataji

Aruna Ben Jain was born on September 26, 1954, in Nikoda, Himmatnagar, Gujarat. Her mother was the late Vimla Ben Mehta, and her father was the late Dayalal Mehta. She belongs to the Dasha Humad caste and had schooling up to Class 11. She has one married brother and two married sisters. She married Sw. Hansmukhlal Shah in 1973, and her in-laws reside in Khanpur, Rakhiyal, Gujarat. Influenced by a sage's vision, she embraced asceticism and took the Brahmacharya vow in 1997 at Podanpur, with Guru Ganadharacharya Shri 108 Kunthusagarji Maharaj. She undertook the 2-Image Vow in 2000 at Kherwada, Rajasthan, the 5-Image Vow in 2003 at Partapur, Rajasthan, and the 7-Image Vow in 2005 at Indore, Madhya Pradesh, all under the guidance of Acharya Shri 108 Sukumalanandi Maharaj. She renounced household life on July 6, 2008, at Taranga, Gujarat. She received her Aryika initiation on July 12, 2008, at Taranga, Mehsana, Gujarat, from Aryika Shri 105 Suyogyamati Mataji, and thereafter, she is known as Aryika Shri 105 Supragyamati Mataji.
