The last train of the day has left the platform. An old woman is sitting without having the idea that next train will be tomorrow morning.
A coolie noticed that and asked the mother -Maa ji, where r you going?
"I will go to Delhi to see my son."
"There is no train today, Maiji."
The woman looked helpless. The coolie was kind enough to offer a shelter for the woman in the waiting room. She agreed.
The coolie asked her about her son. The mother replied that her son works in the railways.
"Tell me the name. See if contact is possible", the coolie said.
"He is my Lal. Everyone calls him Lal Bahadur Shastri!", she replied.
The son was then the Cabinet Minister of Indian Railways.
In a moment, the whole station was in a frenzy. Soon the saloon car came. The old woman was surprised. Lal Bahadur Shastri knew nothing. All arrangements were made by Indian Railways.
After meeting her son, she asked the son, "Beta, tu rail me kya kaam karta hai? Yea log pucha to mai kuch nehi bol payi."
Shastriji said, "Chhota sa kaam Ma"!!

*दिल को छू लेने वाली सच्चाई...* ?
> *पेड़ गांव में ही*
> *रह जाते है*

> *फल शहर*
> *चले जाते है*
*इस एक तस्वीर में हर प्रवासी बेटे-बेटी की कहानी और हर माँ-बाप का मौन दर्द छुपा है।*
*1. पेड़ कौन है?*
पेड़ हैं हमारे माँ-बाप। जिन्होंने धूप में जलकर, बारिश में भीगकर हमें सींचा।
*अपनी जड़ें उसी मिट्टी में जमाए रखीं – उसी गाँव में, उसी घर में।*
ताकि हम फल बनकर पक सकें। उन्होंने खुद तपस्या की, ताकि हमारी ज़िंदगी आसान हो।
*2. फल कौन है?*
फल हैं हम। पढ़-लिखकर, सपने लेकर शहर चले गए। नौकरी, करियर, तरक्की।
*पेड़ से टूटकर हम बाजार में बिकने चले गए। ऊँची कीमत मिली, बड़ा नाम मिला।*
पर पेड़ वहीं रह गया – अकेला, इंतज़ार करता हुआ।
*3. सबसे कड़वा सच:*
शहर में बैठकर हम फल की मिठास की तारीफ सुनते हैं।
*पर ये भूल जाते हैं कि वो मिठास पेड़ के खून-पसीने से आई है।*
पेड़ को न धूप पूछती है, न कोई पानी देता है। वो बस खड़ा रहता है, इस उम्मीद में कि कभी उसका फल लौटकर छाँव में बैठेगा।
*ये बुजुर्ग दंपत्ति सिर्फ एक तस्वीर नहीं हैं।*
ये हर उस घर की कहानी हैं जहाँ दरवाज़े पर टँगी आँखें आज भी बाट जोहती हैं।
जहाँ फोन की घंटी बजते ही दिल की धड़कन तेज हो जाती है।
*तो आज क्या करें?*
फल बनकर इतने भी दूर न हो जाएँ कि जड़ को ही भूल जाएँ।
*एक फोन कर लें। एक बार हाल पूछ लें। हो सके तो छुट्टी लेकर मिल आएँ।*
क्योंकि पेड़ हमेशा नहीं रहते। और जब वो नहीं रहेंगे, तो उनकी छाँव की कीमत समझ आएगी।
*उन सब माँ-बाप को नमन जिन्होंने हमें फल बनाया, और खुद पेड़ बनकर गाँव में रह गए।*
*उनकी जड़ों को सलाम। उनकी ममता को प्रणाम।* ?
*कभी वक्त निकालकर लौट जाना, पेड़ आज भी वहीं खड़ा है... इंतज़ार में।* |
